I want a new game set in this universe at least one more. As popular as this series is it would be dumb not to. But Ellie and all the rest of them story is done imo.

If they really do make a third one I wish it could be set on a different continent, like Europe somewhere, or hell maybe Africa. Whatever. Just to see how the infection affected other parts of the world, and goes without saying but obviously all new characters.

We got Jak 1-3 in 3 years and not getting TLOU trilogy completed until a 15 year period has passed is insane not to mention uncharted still going this long

I really like uncharted and TLOU but I hope they let these go and make something new

The development time of triple A titles these days is crazy.
Although nowadays I play games at a slower pace so I have a bit of a backlog.

This isn't unique to Naughty Dog, games just take longer to develop these days. You really can't compare PS2 games to this era. GTA 3, VC, SA, 4 all dropped in a 7 year period

And Uncharted might as well be over, it doesn't need another game. 4 was a fitting conclusion to the series

I think I was ignoring some of the message of the game potentially due to how fun, graphic and gritty the gameplay was lol I enjoyed the violence and liked the revenge story, I just want it to be as, if not more, bare knuckle than 2

Nah. That game is a misery simulator.

I also think it's do to gamers expectations these days. Games back then were just minor iterations of the previous game. Gamers now expect enough newness to games to justify the need of a sequel.
