It’s still his story and clearly he gotten more comfortable with changes to it from other people between S1 and 2. I think that shows a willingness to let someone else steer the ship.

I hope so... It's been awhile since the last Uncharted game tbh.

I've said it before. A last of us 3 needs to be set in like Eastern Europe or something with totally new characters. Show how the infection affected another part of the world. A chance to have different types of infected too maybe.

I hope the new game is a new IP all together thats a smaller release that gets back to them just making a game-y game.
Like a rogue-lite, or a puzzle game or something. idk.

But if the mysterious other game IS another TLOU, i would like it to be something like this.
I personally prefer when sequels have a new cast and setting anyway.

I'm leaning towards it being unrelated to TLOU though, given that Neil is spread thin between Intergallactic and the show. I imagine he would be writing and directing a new TLOU entry. not just producing

But maybe we could get some type of story DLC that covers a different cast of characters.
I do remember a couple years back there was some casting leak that said ND was casting for a group of survivors who a lived in a Victorian house in a post apocalyptic setting

Man lock this s*** ain't no damn last of us 3 coming out.... unfortunately. Ellie and them story over anyway as far as I'm concerned. If they made a new one I want it set in like Eastern Europe or Prague. Cool architecture, lots of snow, and just a fun way to show how the cordyceps virus affected another part of the world. Lots of potential tbh, just writing characters we care about would be the challenge.

Ain’t no way ellie and abbys story is finished. Ellie’s ending is left ambiguous and they can go anywhere with her character tbh just not another “Older companion with a younger companion that bond throughout their journey” storyline, we had that done twice already.

Abby and lev found the fireflies, no way they’re just leaving it at that. I think one way or another abby will find out that the crazy chick that clapped her previous crew was the immune girl all along.

IMO part 2 was a perfect conclusion for Ellie’s story, agreed there is still more to explore with abby and lev though. Assuming part 3 will star both of them plus another protag if ellie isn’t in the mix

Agreed, i think part 2 needs a sequel more than part 1 did. I hope they do introduce a new protagonist alongside ellie, idk how we’re gonna play as her if she missing two fingers now doubt she can properly shoot a gun let alone swing a blade.
