Abby a stranger to us. come out of nowhere and clapped the main character of the first game who audiences have become familiar with. we know this nigga. to an extent we f*** with this nigga. it's gonna take a hell of a lot of work to get us to like the person who bashed his head in with a golf club, and they did NOT succeed.

if you heard some dude came and stomped your boy out till he died in front of his family how you gonna end up like "well that dude got a family too and he like zebras and s*** and you gotta understand he did him wrong first and" like huh?? then if you don't act like that, someone gonna say "you just don't like him cuz he killed your boy"? nigga yes?

and secondly you're praising them for cheaply recontextualizing the storyline of the first game in order to borrow good faith from what was already established with much better characters. it's not groundbreaking, and it's not genius. the game is about as deep as it presents itself to be in spite of what its biggest fans want people to believe.
