Sold episode, my fav so far tbh.
I really liked the sad, pathetic, decaying soul fighting on to keep his purpose but failing in the end. He has a sad story but he’s quite judgmental and hypocritical
3 red In a row wtffff
Can't believe he didn't know what time it was the second that dude knocked on his window
man took the fattest L after making 160K and fighting for his dear life to keep that money too

Felt like a stand alone episode from tales of the crypt, thought it was gonna suck at beginning but boy did s*** pick up

biggest L of his life so far
Nah, I saw it was doin a Fight Club thing and that turned me off
except Mr. Robot strengthened it
Praying this is cap cuz If a show doesn't grab me within 1 to 3 eps I'm
Considering pausing love death and robots to try this out
Love, death and robots is horrible
This is if the thanos snap was a show I can't elaborate further
S1 is based off the book, so it’s a bit more traditional but interesting 2010s, post-lost style tv mystery
2 and 3 was Lindelof departing from the source material and doing his own thing with the S1 launching pad and the world, and that’s when it gets crazy
Kinda like a reverse GOT, where leaving the source material actually let the creator go nuts with the established characters and story, instead of the creators torpedoing the quality
The show has a lot of callbacks to season 1 that skimming watchers not gonna catch

Lmao harsh, love death and robots has some duds but also some pretty cool stand alone stories

Not really harsh because people hyped it up to me in real life and the s*** ended up being 10 min "DEEP" thoughtprovoking youtube videos?
I went in without context thought it would be a show or something

I look at it like animated black mirror, some are longer and some suck while others are pretty clever
@op
Season 1 mystery
Season 2 biblical parallels
Season 3 nolan concepts
ARE
YOU
READY

I understand and I've seen it full but it's been falsely advertised to me it left a bad taste so I didn't like it
But it's not the same here don't even deserve comparing
This is a great show right here

I'm 5 eps in its already pretty engaging, very interested to see where it veers off into, especially judging by your descriptions of the series lmao

Real for deniro avi he my fav actor of all time and my grandpa looked like em
Season 1 is mostly about the people missing and it's more mystery focused
Season 2 is the mutes peak and it mostly focuses around the religious aspects and beliefs of people at such an event like in season 1 episode 1 (I'm being as vague as I can for people who haven't seen)
Season 3 enhances the biblical parallels to a 100 and has the main character act out couple things and there's plenty of callbacks to season 1 & decisions that lead up to season 3
Season 1 would be the bad one going forward

Bro I was shaking my head when this dumbass decided to talk to the guy
Preacher centered focus episode
Some donny kill em in a argument with FACTS over FEELINGS in season 3 and he feel bad
Great character though they always on his bumper
Bro I was shaking my head when this dumbass decided to talk to the guy
Bro just watched him win all that money and he has a bag of cash In his front seat, and these are pseudo dystopian times, dude didn't even lock his door
both are really some of my fav pieces of filmed art of the past 10 years or so . same show runner i believe
Nah the showrunner of The Leftovers is Damon Lindelof, he’s done other highly acclaimed shows like Lost and Watchmen.
The showrunner of Station 11 is Patrick Somerville, and he only wrote a couple episodes of The Leftovers
