so do you believe nora
so do you believe nora
Im conflicted on it. Also i tried to spoiler but idt it worked
it took me a bit to even think she’d have made it up, but i came to that conclusion as well. I’ve been reading other’s thoughts all day. Have two homies who watched it and loved it prior, theyre mt friends that are really into films and tv to an almost insane degree and we’re meeting up for beers to talk about it.
!# I think she may have been being 100% honest. The biggest thing that makes me skeptical is the cut that occurs when shes in the machine. But the story she fabricated could
Be totally true, based on the s*** that kevin experienced, but if its not true then also is the s*** kevin experienced true and like reality or was it just completely fabricated by him Because he was mentally ill and then he had this hard condition so did the heart condition occur from the coming back. #

yeah i think ultimately it doesn't even matter
if she was telling the truth or not
it's like she said, we lost maybe 1 or 2 people, but they lost everything
so they just had to move on

fairly certain she's lying. the cut when she's in the machine, it seems like she's about to scream stop, and then later in the final episode, it's as the nun says "It's just the nicer story."
regardless of what it is, it's f***in beautiful
Show is mid/10
Yeah. The leftovers isn’t for people who describe things using the word mid

honestly leaning more to her making it up but youre right its beautiful either way. I think it ended perfectly
had two ppl today told me they didnt like the show because it didnt explain what happened to the departed

'Let the mystery be' 😊
Only major mistake of finale showing that Laurie didn’t commit suicide but in a way I think they did it on purpose to say everything after Nora makes contact with the machine could truly all be an illusion . I final death journey or purgatory . An infinity of living the lie that she saw the other side !

y’all f***ing tweaking lmfao why wouldn’t you believe Nora? there’s literally no evidence of the contrary, and it gives you a good twist ending for the departed. talking about “how it was cut” like it wasn’t a story she was telling anyways??? lol just saying i never saw any reason to doubt her

That is the point of the finale. That is the point of love. He could confront her and doubt her. She could be lying, but let people believe the lies they tell themselves. Why break the illusion

Yeah I had read that. It definitely took something away from the what if moment for me. Of that ending. Not that I am romanticizing her committing suicide

nah fully agree with you.
yes it would've been a sad ending but ,hell! can't always have an happy ending for every main character.
it would've been a "perfect" end to her arc , although sad like i said, it would've been earned and it already made sense to the audience but whatever
