I had no idea this was a thing, I fw the art style

a feature length animated lord of the rings with a female led protag being released in theatres doesnt even sound real lol

excited tho we need more big budget animated films that arent the same studios/ style

this anime artstyle is insane I love it

just do the whole middle earth series in a cool animated series, dont need fanfiction based on the lotr footnotes

i aint mad at fan fiction if its done with respect

Curious. Some shots look cool, some look a bit generic. My first reaction was scepticism, but I say why not? Let's do something different with the IP. The actual art posted looks high-quality. If it's good, will also help bridge whatever remains of the Western-Eastern fantasy gap for some people.
