while baby is a very talented rapper and can flow on a beat, one of the thing that he is failing to realize as an artist is that not evolving your sound or having a mediocre beat selection can really bring you down as an artist even as a talented rapper.

one of the main reasons gunna thug future uzi have suceeded is because of their versatility in beat selections and to make the sound fresh even if the flow and subject matter stay the same. baby can do that like the beats above he's just too comfortable on low down/ bigger picture type beats which is crazy cuz his own producers have some crazy ass beats he just dont be picking them

Yes I feel like I was a bigger fan when he felt fresh and different when he was first coming up. Now it's just typical Baby flows and bars on the same beats. Just based off all his recent singles he seems afraid to step out of what worked before. Even people's expectations for him have gone down now it's "yall expected better from Lil Baby?"
