GODAMNNNN FINALLY!!!!! marvel might be back

Found this movie pretty confusing for the first hour, but by the end it made sense. It's only an hour 45, instead of the usual 2 20. It definitely feels like 35 minutes of content was trimmed. Honestly though, not nearly as bad as Thor, Ant-Man or Secret Invasion.

Also, I don't give a f*** about these homeless Skrulls. Consistently boring and useless, just make them bad guys like the comics. There's like a million planets, trying living on one of those, idiots.

Forgot to mention, the beginning of the movie when Captain Marvel and Rambeau randomly decide to touch the weird space energy is so stupid. Like how dumb are these women? Monica legit leaves her space suit so she can bare hand touch this mysterious space magic she's stumbled upon.

Not hugely important to my enjoyment of the movie, just thought it was pretty ridiculous

Seeing a Beast closer to how he looks in the comics/animated series got a pop from me

The singing planet was fun for me but I wish they leaned into it more. I would have liked Kamala to start an even bigger song and dance with their people after Captain Marvel has her dance with the king.

this movie was good but the conflict being resolved with “hey carol you ever thought about flying into the sun?” “no.” “try that” and it works and everything is fixed no problem is soo unserious
