It's actually a Thai movie. Takes place in Thailand and the director is Thai. It's produced / co-written by Na Hong-jin who is Korean though.

Im sorry, I’ve forgotten that Shutter wasn’t Korean. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it very much and collab with The Wailing’s writer makes me hyped af.
