Any new black stuff to check out? I haven't been keeping up with new releases. Been listening to classic stuff like Darkthrone and Rotting Christ (listened to Non Serviam while driving back from work today)

For sure. I approached it being a bit scared bevause wasn't really feeling the single but it made sense in the context of the album. Nice stuff, I really like The Sea beneath etc. Old Star is still my favourite release of this era of theirs tho. Instant personal classic

New Blut aus Nord is massive

Aveilut by Scarcity some good avant garde stuff in the vein of imperative imperceptible impulse

Apologetica by Patristic is very cool

Long Defeat is not my fav DsO but still class

Through Form Descent by Wake is a good metal record people are calling black, I heard a lot of death however

Not familiar with these guys

I also been on a metal adjacent noise rock type vibe some bangers in that vein

Japanese Melodic Metal. Semi Symphonic or Neo classical stuff too.

Imperial Circus Death Decadance really opened my ears to the sound. I even love the growling and shouting
