Listened to Kvelertak's Splid a few times. It's very campy black metal inspired rock. I really love their instrumental work. The vocals are what ham it up. They're so varied though that I kind of enjoy them even when they're trash. Not pure metal but really entertaining nonetheless.

not all of their stuff is metal, but this band is so f***ing sick

criminal that they never were able to release an album when they were active in the early 70s.

Their first album was good, their second was alright, and they gradually became like occult pop rock. It’s not bad but nothing great.

They always go hard. Killer band
