I might make this into a general biology science thread

biology is at the intersection of everything I find interesting

abiogenesis / physics & astrophysics / cosmology / astronomy / philosophy

in a perfect world, I'd go back to school someday to become a prof in one of these fields

The milf category is also interesting and varied

I worked in a developmental biology lab

Its f***ing insane how complex biology is and it still usually works well

So many proteins work in different ways depending on the context of their environment

What'd you work on, if you don't mind sharing?

Personally i worked on image a***ysis and like detecting cells in images, also a lot of data a***ysis

The people in my lab are fascinating tho, they worked with flies/fish, discovering how different signaling pathways work in development

When i was a kid i was so stoked to be a meteorologist

Still disagree tho. As cool and complex as meteorology is it doesnt have the same depth of complexity as biology

it really makes me take a step back and question that an intelligent, creative, and intrinsic design is somehow just a product of evolutionary cycles!? nahhh i ain't believe that. someone made this... it's far too beautiful and sophisticated to be down to chance and where the wind blew.

internet has taken away a lot of mysteries about life, i'm grateful that some still remain
