Negative. If Cal had better numbers than Judge I would say he’s the clear winner. This is the same argument made for Ohtani, he’s simply doing things the other players aren’t. Judge is putting up offensive numbers that are just not seen in baseball in this era. Nobody hits for power and average anymore. .230 to .240 is now the new .300 yes Cal is having a crazy year with how many homers he’s hit but that’s simply not enough to win the MVP. It’s not the Most Homers Award. It’s the most valuable player and Judge is more valuable to the Yankees than Cal is to the Mariners.

I don’t hate the Mariners and Cal is a nice guy but his stats don’t compete with Judge. If Judge didn’t have that one homer robbed from him in Tampa and if he played as many games as Cal he’d have just as many homers.
