I been giving Mendoza a lil grace because ultimately I think players have to perform but wtf was the strategy coming into the last final week? Having Manaea start on 3 days est because you used him in Chicago.. that seemed like a good idea?

Idk I feel like Manaea was pitching fine today sometimes you gotta let your starters work out of trouble.

I don’t have a problem with him starting today but why use him in Chicago? That game was a dub. Where was the foresight then? He’s a vet I prefer him to tighten up and work out of trouble too get some momentum. Also would rather him being fully fresh coming into the biggest start of the year.

But yeah it’s already over so it is what it is at this point.
