He never said outright that 3.15.20 was the final Gambino album.
He did say explicitly, on repeat, that the This Is America Tour was the final Gambino tour.
In 2017, Donald Glover, during a live performance, revealed he planned to retire the stage name Childish Gambino, telling the Governors Ball Music Festival audience, "I'll see you for the last Gambino album."
Whatever the tour ends up being, I'm gonna go lol
Lol same I will literally fly wherever. Already flew to Joshua Tree and New Zealand for this mf
Oh and Seattle but he cancelled that show

Yeah, but he's never been on record saying 3.15.20 will be his last album. He just said there would be a final album and that he was working on it. I always kind of figured 3.15.20 would not be the final album he was talking about.

Saw that too but "Create Scenario" makes me cautious.
Looks to me like they're just example scenarios to work on to prep for pages to go live. Doesn't necessarily mean he's touring there.
Final album final tour and they were neither
I’d be so down to see him again though
i think his pops dying halfway thru affected all of his plans for what the 2018 album and tour were gonna be. rollout kinda just stopped
Tour confirmed. Think we might be getting this sooner than expected
Where was it confirmed?
'The New World Tour' could potentially also be a sort of roadshow tour for the movie, Bando Stone in the New World. It's highly unlikely that'll get a regular wide theatrical release imo, so something like a city-to-city screening event might make more sense.

Found in the code for the GILGA website. Dunno if it's a live tour or something beyond that.
If any tour is happening, I bet it on being more festival appearances than a solo tour
New track is insane, it kinda draws you in with just the sample and the introspective lyrics/understated delivery, then when the drums dropped
and the singing outro part at the end sounded sick too.
Got me hyped for sure

This is more what I'm expecting, but I might be wrong.
Is the youtube video the full interview on the website? I clicked on the link and it's just a landing page
I really hope the final album is more singing than rapping.
I don't. We've heard plenty of Gambino singing the last decade and almost no rapping. Hearing him rap about his life is one of the most ascending experiences in life for me

It’ll probably be a mix of both. Creatively I feel like it’s for their better because if just squeezes rap out just for the sake of it then that wouldn’t be too great.
In the end the more he has that freedom do experiment the better.
Sidenote, I love the old version of littlefoot Bigfoot better tbh.
