The reason this is the best list so far is because you guys need to remember the big 3 cannot be alike at all they all have to occupy different lanes

  • May 16, 2021

I feel like it's too early to even consider a next big 3. There really isn't a big enough crop of new rappers to classify them as a new generation. Most of the rappers being listed are still budding and only have one successful album to date

Travis must be the only one close to the big 3.

He's already very successful and been out almost 10 years. Doesn't really count.

No one really big enough after him. It's just a lot of generic trap artists.

    Cole and Kendrick

If you pay attention their lanes are very different. Kendrick more experimental, creative and conscious. Cole is just your regular everyday type rapper, he appeals to the most regular people. Kendrick appeals to those who like to believe they have a higher taste level in music and are a lot more diverse in their music tastes, generally speaking. Imo

bruh what? Youngboy has been going crazy the last 4 years wym. Not all of his stuff is groundbreaking but he’s got hits on hits. Give that man his credit. Same for Kodak.

Two of the highest selling rap artists of the last decade.
