that being said, it's really not the next generation, it's somehow to derivative of others styles while also ignoring the foundation of hip-hop, people aren't gonna wanna cape for this besides those who complain that people "don't go outside"

it's weird cause it already feels like all the slayworld guys and artists that got popular around that time came and wen't and now we're in this new era with artists like yhap and nettspend. i like their music more but i just don't see it translating. ig we'll see

I think it’s deeper than the sound translating, it’s the range and talent and potential for exponential growth that would eventually translate into new sounds. Nobody has made me feel that but yhap in a long time

actually yeah i agree with you here. i haven’t felt anything close with newer artist compared to when i first heard up 2 me. but yhap and nett feel like they have something for sure we”ll see how they develop

yhap def has more potential especially with his recent project it's evident. i only say what i said because nett was my intro to that style. both do it well but yhap for sure has more versatility
