Just wrapped up my 4th listen. Love how concise it is. No gimmicks, no filler just straight bars and beats.

APIDTA.. man.. That s*** was so beautiful. I’m honestly at a loss for words. The fact that it was recorded the same night Kobe died makes it even more sad and bittersweet. The last 3 songs in general is just an insane run. His 2nd verse on Ezekiel’s Wheel is absolutely career defining.

From the Farrakhan speech excerpts to the drumless movie score type production, this really felt like the art project Jay always wanted to make. It did feel like we didn’t get to hear a lot of Jay rapping though so I still hope we one day get Act 2, but goddamn this is a piece of art
