The album has such power and identify which I can feel are timeless

I honestly think if this album was marketed as a Jay Electronica/Jay-Z duet album it would have been waaaaay more successful commercially. I feel like most people don’t even know that Hov is on basically every track.

But regardless this album really is classic quality. It blows my mind that it wasn’t more highly regarded.

Act 2 better but this was great it still gets plays

He’s been posting a lot of meme stuff on social media. Hopefully it’s a break in tension for him between crafting heart wrenching and maddening verses for Act III: The Last Will and Testament (positive deductions)

I could see how a jay elect fan who’d been dying for him to release his god damn album would’ve been disappointed by this thing, but as a casual fan of his who always liked when he was a feature or something this album was both really cool and what I always assumed a project of his would sound like.
