That’s exactly the thing. He still got washed in Shiny suit to me though. Elect Just has more substance the Hov and he tends to dumb down his verse when he rapping with Hov. When he on there alone he talks his s***.

1000%. Elect much more emotive, personal, poetic, and his pen is immaculate. There’s few if any Hov verses i’m putting with better in tune or exhibit c and songs like that.

Technically Jay didn't make the claim in his tweets that it is a solo project.

Without Hov, I'm not sure if Elec would have the motivation on his own to actually do something like this.

Marketing also being a concern for Elec, it makes too much sense for Hov being on the project to help out with that aspect as well.

If the claim that 3 Hov x Elec songs were heard is correct, it would be rather odd for a solo project to have 3 features from another person.

The only thing against the collab theory is that Elec has some solo tour dates shortly after the 40 days.
