Murdoch is at the emergency vet overnight.. he was having a violent seizure likely caused by insulinoma while I was at work so my girlfriend (luckily she was off today) so she called me home and I rushed him to the vet. Good blood sugar levels are above 100, seizures start at 60, and his was 40.

I had him euthanized today. His blood sugar dropped to the 20s, he was having constant tremors, and he had 5 grand mal seizures over the day. When they called to give me an update they said that it wasn't looking to good so I asked if I could come visit him. When I saw him I broke down and couldn't take the thought of him suffering, so I made the call. At that point his brain was probably on fire.. that s*** broke me, man.

Damn I’m sorry to hear that . I know it wasn’t the easiest decision but he’s resting peacefully now . He knew you loved him and always had his best interests at heart , a pet’s love is pure and I know it hurts but just remember all the care you gave to him and how not only did you chose him but he chose you . He couldn’t have lived a better life
