you're gonna need a lot more paperwork like a business plan with various marketing plans inside each based on the future climate of entertainment and then you need to host at least 50 smaller, local events with YOUR OWN capital before anybody would consider funding this

So for us, The Kennis Six, we are a creative media production company that specializes in esports events. We use our themed tournaments events as art pieces, using our audiences as characters in the story's theme.

Here's a previous example of two Super Smash Bros. tournaments from before COVID:

Notice how the marketing of the event isn't based around the function of the tournament (ie the game), but rather the theme and story we as The Kennis Six are trying to tell.

And here's Revolution.

In Revolution, the byline is "Freedom is in Peril...". That was a mission briefing to players and audiences and is an example of how audiences were used as characters in the story

This video I just posted is a tech demo.

So I'm a marketer by trade. The Kennis Six is my startup, but s*** I be on other s*** too. I'm a marketer by trade. Putting people in position, advertising, fye graphics, creative s***.

In this video I'm showcasing my Instagram. This is the equivalent of a podcast. I talk about like 17 topics in less timeframe than my previous video. I'm also showing the viewer my timeline, what I see on it, how long I see it, how I react to it. My critique of the Instagram page was directly letting the client know what I think of when I see their page and I show them a demonstration of how quickly I am able to collect information.

In the meantime, I also put up advertisements for Omega Psi Phi Instagram page, and ad for @primepremier Instagram page, and did a UI critique on Instagram as well as talk about the NBA and offer a branding criticism to a featured artist I found on Instagram

yeah, esports is booming and with LAN events coming back soon he should be able to find tourney organizers that need a production company to livestream the event.

I see, don’t really know much about the video game tournament business but if there’s money to be made it’s a smart decision to get in, not a lot of other people doing this

ima keep it 1000% with you man, i don’t see what exactly this is going to payoff for the recipients in a e-sport comp. Looks like something a youtube or professional editor would just create for a thumbnail or something. This is not a takeaway to your talents,It’s not that this is bad i’m just trying to see why someone would want to fund a whole company instead of hiring an individual for work/position. Unless kennis is just gonna be like a hosting of your portfolio which is important for any creative designer then yes

^ much like you wanting to become a popular, paid game streamer, this is only you saying what you WANT to become but with the rate you are going you'll never get there and waste a ton of energy you wont get back in your 30s

you need to host 50 local events around your US State and turn a profit as well

you need a mission statement that is more than saying "we are a company that hosts video gaming tournaments"

you need professional identity branding and creative marketing collateral that isnt just a little photoshopped square

you need to get off social media and internet forums and go meet people who actually own or manage real successful businesses in your area
