Naw mane, I've never heard ppl talk about trans ppl that much irl when I was growing up in the 2000s and 2010s. Even one of my siblings who don't gaf about social topics talks about them

For real, almost every person I know has said something to me about trans/gay people in the last few months, but I guess that’s slightly different from the gender war. People are real life pissed at trans people though right now
And women in real life think all men are trash and stuff like that, that’s beyond internet too.

Fs, I think it has to do with the laws in Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma ramping up and influencing other states and even countries. And ppl believing the rhetoric of how being gay/trans is sexualizing children
