Until Kendrick drops he’s left off, rap has always been “what have you done for me lately” type of genre and Kendrick doesn’t change that.

I agree he fell off, but the top 3 isn’t static. Ye earned the right to be listed as the current top 3 because of sales and a quality album. Drake and Cole/Tyler have both released albums this year while Kendrick hasn’t dropped in years. So for now he’s off until he drops. It’s that simple.

How can you fall off if there’s no music to actually critique we all know Kendrick is gonna do better numbers commercially than 99.9% of the rap industry as soon as he drops and nobody has matched him quality wise throughout the decade so until he drops a bad album his spot remains at the top but I do see your point
