Vic's death was honestly the most telegraphed to me, since episode one. It was just a matter of when, especially after HBO started drawing parallels between Oz/Vic and Tony Soprano/Christopher.

Vic was only as useful as the caretaker to Oz's mother, and there was no use keeping him around when she fell into that vegetative state

Batman 2 can't possibly cover anywhere near the story elements the last few episodes teased so i'm down

I think in the film we'll see Batman interested in targeting Penguin because he's boss now and whatever between them also crosses over with the new villain. That's it. He has a bigger role but it still won't be over 15-20 min of screen time

The show is where we pick back up on the politics pivot, Penguin being challenged by rising crime bosses and villains, criminal investigations, Sofia loose ends etc...

Would rather get a GPCD or Arkham show before this happens, but we’ll see how things pan out

I liked the show but didn't love it.

There's definitely a lot of moments specially in the last 2 episodes where it feels like Oz has plot armor. Everything very conveniently falls into place for him to rise to the top - it all feels "tv' for the lack of a better word. This kinda convenient writing kinda stops the show from becoming prestige.

As much as I loved this, idk if s2 is a good decision. Catwoman or Harvey would be much preferred

Yea overall this is not what it was hyped up to be. I believe all the fanfare is acredited to Farrell and Milioti, very mesmerizing performances, its definitely what kept me watching.

Only 4 episodes in but Idk what these mfs above me are talking about so far. This show is excellent. Oz is like Tony Soprano meets Saul Goodman

The beginning of episode 4 when Sofia finds out Oz killed her brother and he's squirming with f***ing saliva flying out of his mouth killed me Rewinded that scene like 5 times

I still laugh at the scene where r-bats got his binoculars out looking at catwoman get changed like a peeping tom
