planting the switchblade part was dope
That part blew my mind
Mfers ITT tripping calling this episode predictable cause there’s no way anyone thought he was planting it on the security guard lmao…it seemed like he was planting it on Vitti
Ep1 was def better cuz it was basically the perfect pilot but ep 2 was nowhere near mid
S*** flew by and felt like it was over in less than 25 minutes, that's when you know you re locked in and engaged
Or you may have a very poor perception of time

Shut up nerd
I don't regret what I spit cuz I know what I say
This white washed black kid is gonna kill me all series
It has me thinking of what the importance of the audience surrogate must be.. is it like we need this somewhat annoying character because he solved story/tone issues that we would only notice if he wasn’t around? Has me trying to figure out screenwriting cuz this couldn’t be the best they could do. I don’t hate the actor but it is the obvious pox on the show.

I suppose he exposuses Oz's vulnerable side a bit also because he should've been dead. Oz needs him more than what the kid knows probably.
That's what I'm getting, although, that doesn't combat this kids character. I don't expect a swift, quick on their feet type guy on Oz's level but I also don't expect the kid to have a panic attack every time they do something.
Kid ain't got no grit to him but I keep telling myself it's all gonna pay off somehow, I hope the writers cook with the character because he's the only flaw in my eyes.

We not in a place where you can get away w this but it would make sense if he was a bit younger like reading 15-16 instead of like 19 like an mbj in the wire where him being green was more excusable but that could introduce different variables.

A bit younger would make more sense, also, mbj in the wire actually had a role that showed some quality in him especiallly taking care of his younger sibilings.
Though yes he was a bit green when it came to the game.

Mbj was a good kid who just wanted to do right in a harsh place. Poot did him dirty, that s*** never sat right with me

his importance is to make you relate/feel for him and have him become likable so that we can be devastated when Sophia puts his head on a stick in the 2nd to last episode
Also having a hardtime reconciling where Batman is
this seems like pretty up-there mob stuff which he was already aware and into in the film
now that Penguin running around in high speed shootouts and people being offed left and right and he’s nowhere to be seen?

This is prolly the type of logic that you have to throw out the window for your sake lol, but if I had to play devil's advocate, the Batman is supposed to have his finger on the pulse when it comes to crime in Gotham, but it's a big ass city, not to mention that this is a transitional phase post-flooding, not just for the civilians of Gotham, but for Batman too, given his character arc in The Batman.
I forgot to post on Sunday, but I think episode 2 was even better. It was better written and paced perfectly. Low key I was into Luca Falcone’s portrayal.

To be fair, the radio host in episode 2 said crime has went up like 45% since the flood
So I’d imagine he’s busy as F***
And also I’d imagine we’ll get an explanation on what Bruce has been up to since the flood in The Batman 2

Bigger fish to fry. Whole city in shambles from the flooding. Car chases in the slums is just every day activity
