the people who say the dumbest stuff are the most ignorant about an artist

a classic one about artists are "oh all so and so's stuff sounds thee same" and whenever people say blanket statements like that, i know i can't convince them anything otherwise because they are just ignorant to the subject and are content being ignorant

people who say j cole is corny have obviously never listened to a j cole project in its entirety. yeah he says some corny things sometimes but to classify his whole artistry as corny is just wrong.

also people love herd mentality. the internet hates russ and people love being part of something bigger than themselves so people who have never heard a russ song in their life are just hating russ for no reason. now, im not pro-russ but if you've listened to one of his albums, you'd know he doesnt "suck" as an artist. he's a pretty talented guy who just stated some of his views and now boom everyone hates him

same with drake, people love to just hate drake for no apparent reason. i'm not saying you have to like these artists but when i ask you why you don't like them you should be able to have a real reason and if you don’t, just say you don't know if you like them because ignorance is such a bad trait to put off
