The problem with white rappers is that they always try to impart their white identity into their music. Instead of just being a rapper, they gotta be a 'white rapper' and wear their race as an ornament. Eminem was virtually the only one that successfully doubled down on his identity without it being corny, and that's solely because his early catalog was so legitimately impressive. 99.9% of the time though, it results in corny, apologist Macklemore music where they're saying sorry for their privilege or getting emotional over slavery.

Just be a f***ing rapper. Just rap good. Stop being a cornball. That's it.
