This definitely a precursor to the joint album imo. WATTBA had drake/future tracks like jersey and 30 for 30 so could be following a similar formula.

Personally I don’t think a sequel is done but if future and drake both drop early in the year and do well then maybe they’ll drop something together in the back half of the year to keep the momentum going. They would have heard everyone asking for it so they know the demand is there.

I also think drake realises he’s treading a fine line in terms or saturation now just because of his popularity and inevitable radio presence, so it might not make sense to drop two projects in a year right after taking a break

Idk but it seems so obvious to me. Why was jewellery made just for a single.

I think we have to wait and see what happens in the next week or two. If the album exists it would only make sense to drop it while the FBGOVO hype is at an all time high coming off this single. I doubt this track would be on it just because it’s future ft drake but it could be a separate single to build some hype. If we continue to see future or drake dropping hints like they’ve been doing then we’re getting it but if we don’t hear anything in the next couple weeks then it’s not happening at least not anytime soon.

The only thing that makes me think album is, if this were just a random single why even combine these 2 tracks vs. just getting a traditional Drake feat? Just feels like something that would show up on a collab album vs. a single collab

I would guess this but I can’t imagine a solo album from Drizzy before October of this year.

I figure these guys obviously know the expectation of the audience that there’s a sequel and they have been alluding to it along with a bunch of leaks since early 2019. I could see it being a situation where it’s future feat Drake then drake feat future and then a drop or something of that nature - I can’t imagine they just drop this single after making $1mill chains and call it a day lmao
