No, but it's the first time Ed O'Brien has spoken positively regarding the band like that in quite some time. Even his interview last year was very distant - which is not like him.

Ed being vocally pro-Palestine and seeing his band get rightfully put through all the media circus due to the other guitarist's ties to Israel probably had a lot to do with it. I don't blame him at all. I'm not sure that I would be in a hurry to reunite either.
