Ai music is incredibly lame and will never be the wave to anybody except Reddit & discord nerds
why would you think a wave would need to come for ai music to be interesting its an inherently interesting topic
AI music needs to evolve already if yall want us to take it seriously. It's in that gimmick stage rn where niggas are putting popular artists together or having this rapper sing a pop song. S*** feels like NFTs when everyone was insisting that we should all jump on board or be left behind. It's a little different because it actually has potential but yall are giving it way too much credit when the technology isn't there yet s*** just came out fr. Until we see it top the Billboard charts people aren't in a rush to jump on this trend
I think it has a bit of potential in the music world but at this point it's not really worth trying to invest in bc of copyright
all people wanna do is make fake songs out of established artists and use their vocals without permission
Like the s*** I saw Timbo promoting with Big honestly disgusted me fam, and I love him as a producer and even just watching his interviews.
But i can't allow myself to fw it right now. I don't think it's all that positive or that any changes brought about by AI Generated music will be positive
Its just fancy remix mashes and rap line splicing that niggas been doing literally since 2PAC DIED AND YOUTUBE STARTED - YET THEY THINK ITS SO AMAZING WE DONT GAF BRO ITS NOTHING NEW BESIDES THE PROGRAM AND SPEED THAT DOES IT
Yeah I was going to mention that. Niggas been making mash ups forever and it never became this huge thing just it's own sub genre with a small but loyal following. AI could go the same route because no one cares about CGI character people want a human behind the music with a story. At best it will just be another tool for artists to help with ideas and fans to make cool remixes. Right now you got 2 groups saying it's either the end of the world or the next big thing when it's neither

if fans f*** with it, there's gonna be a lot of potential for Record Labels to create AI musicians and make music for very cheap
you can get songwriting teams to pump out an album's worth of songs every month when you don't need a real person to record them
Always crazy coming across an artist you’ve never seen or heard of with a song with 650 million plays

if this guy is willing to write a song and meticulously craft it in a way that somewhat believably sounds like Drake and The Weeknd when put through AI Software, do you think he is above paying for some fake streams? maybe I'm just being a hater but i sincerely doubt the credibility of the numbers.
And he does have fans, but I just don't believe it you know?

I think maybe I’m just getting old. I don’t listen to the radio. I don’t use TikTok like that. You can have hits these days off streams with no fans if people like it, they don’t care who it’s by, idk
a music forum being this unwilling to talk about ai music is embarrassing tbh
AI music is fake music

He has had some huge Tiktok hits. There's a lot of artists on that side who you'd never know about if you don't use the app
it's a well established artist by the name of JVKE, who currently have 30mil+ monthly listeners
The "heart on my sleeve" AI song that took the internet by storm couple weeks ago.
great research from this dude tbh
this ain’t Evan Peters?

Because it’s f***ing stupid and has the possibility to ruin the music industry this site is built on

This only works if they are either so mysterious that they never have to physically actually be anywhere that isn’t content they release to the world
Or you have a mf stand in and be the physical face for the artist and the music is created by AI which is actually the most plausible and realistic way I would see it happening
Also I remember seeing this guy on YouTube ads or some s*** and it’s crazy the state of the rap game/music industry could have it to where that song blowing up and now this subsequent reveal has a very good chance of still being a label marketing scheme for him lmao
