It has no wordwide appeal no more, UK rap/hip hop/grime/drill is booming rn, all you hear on the radio is UK s*** never any US stuff unless its a hit or a massive artist. This then influences the rest of Europe (UK artists dont just tour the UK all the time, they tour europe cos its just as easy) meaning europe doesnt give a s*** about the US SC artists. If you notice when they come Europe they have to book venues where its like 5k max and even then they don’t sell out.

Other factors obviously fall into this but this is why the songs arent popping as much any more, theyve lost so much appeal in europe
