A revolution was never gonna occur you dolt, we don’t even have unions or anything to at least create some form of solidarity among workers.

Socialists do not have the apparatus necessary for such a thing to occur, solidarity among the left as is is already incredibly difficult because everything is so splintered, on top of the conservatives controlling the culture war.

The mainstream waves are dominated by neoliberalism and conservatism (i.e. FOX, MSNBC, CNN etc.).

There is no grand platform for Socialists (even Democratic Socialists, who are probably the most utilitarian with their beliefs in terms of what’s actually obtainable here in the States, which is, after all, the belly of the beast for Capitalism) to properly explain their agenda to the masses.

Our only hope is to get more leftists (not liberals, likely democratic socialists because they’re the most easily digestible to the mainstream) into positions of power in order to exact actual, tangible change.

And for the love of God we gotta put the semantics aside and be, not only leftists, not only Socialists, but also REALISTS.
