Rocky interesting to me. He definitely used to be more “objectively” good. His music was really “by the book” radio perfect and he made genuine hits. That was your next big pop star right there.

The thing for me though was none of that music was ever captivating in itself to me. I mean they all good and they got the plays at the time, but with the Cozy Tapes and Testing, even though there’s a lot more filler than ever before, I find the creative direction gives it all a substance it’s never had before.

Rocky making some really cool and personal stuff rn love to see it.
