Yes I was wrong about ICEMAN’s first week, but it wasn’t an “agenda” against Drake.

Whenever I make a prediction about an artist’s next album’s performance, I always take into account their most recent work.

Before ICEMAN, Drake’s most recent solo project had the lowest first week sales of his career since Thank Me Later, and his recent singles were not making any noise. That’s why I predicated ICEMAN to have a lower first week.

Kendrick’s most recent album was one of the most commercially successful rap albums of the 2020s, and he’s coming off numerous smash hit singles. That’s why I’m predicting his next album to have a higher first week.

The only a***ysis he knows is linear trend projection. Drake’s solo album sales had been trending down therefore ICEMAN could only be lower than FATD. Kendrick’s sales are going up from MM to gnx therefore they’ll only continue to go up

Then again, Kendrick is a very difficult artist to make sales predictions for due to how he drops albums. He seems to operate on a “one for them, one for me” formula. If the pattern holds, his next project will be another “one for me” release, meaning it won’t be a commercially friendly record. If that’s the case, then my prediction would be 250K
