Gnx was more hyped on release than damn bro. Damn is a better album though and performed way better over time. Gnx was fast food but benefited so much from the beef. I don’t know why we can’t be honest about the numbers. Bias aside f*** both artist.. we all know gnx coming after mr morale would have went plastic first week. Realistically 150-220k first week.
Not Like Us definitely boosted the hype around his next album, no one is denying that.
But DAMN. was definitely more hyped before release. GNX literally dropped randomly one day, nobody knew when it was coming
