Was inescapable where Im out the first 2 weeks but, now, I barely hear people outside playing it.
No joke...I think Janice won't even dominate the summer or club scene as much as Nokia last year.
The summer's only starting though so Ill still wait to see. But yeah...it seems like the album's summer dominance isn't going to be what I expected. I guess thats where MOH comes in though.

Prez 💎·1 replyidk what to think about sales numbers anymore. i mean obviously the metrics are different which is fair and needed since the consumption model has changed, but i feel like you have 1 group of people saying "these #1s that peak on release week and then fade aren't true hits" while you have other people saying "radio play should't make a song go #1 since that is controlled by corporations - streaming data is the true marker of popularity".
ultimately who cares. the numbers have gotten more complicated because media consumption has gotten more complicated. it is what it is
