I’m honestly not sure about that, but it was stable in the Top 20 for six straight months, and spent a total of 41 weeks on the chart. It’s not the biggest hit in the world, but it was still a hit nonetheless. Certainly bigger than any song on Kiss All the Time or The Romantic (as of right now)
I Just Might is at #2 this week
Kalshi made Luminate numbers public which is pretty interesting. These are worldwide streams that combine platforms. You can sort by daily, weekly or monthly.
For example last week:
Bad Bunny - 627M
Taylor - 535M
Drake - 478M
Yo you think GNX is going to be performing as well as FATD is right now in another year? I’m just confused bc GNX was crowned biggest album of the decade by you. The charts aren’t saying that though.. the “flop” FATD according to you is on top of the more recent project GNX. What the f…..
FATD has 17 more songs than GNX
I Just Might is at #2 this week
It’s been out for two months, it could be at #50 in three weeks
ngl kind of becoming a boring year for BB200, its all female country or white girl music
don't expect it to get any better soon now that malcom todd is dropping next month
they bout to scream bots
@thegreatdivine we waiting on ur return sis. the boy bout to splash em
FATD has 17 more songs than GNX

which one was a solo rap album?
Timeless was a big song. No denying that lol
Harry and Bruno though
I suppose there's still time
which one was a solo rap album?
Man stop, the genre isn’t the issue, it’s that those albums don’t have that many big songs and they’re too short for the tracklist to make up for that
In order for a short album to be a mainstay commercially in the streaming era, it needs to have like 3-4 HUGE songs. That’s why albums like After Hours, Short n Sweet, and Sour have stuck around after years

highly disagree especially when talking about her loss, dldt, and hnvm vs clb and fatd.
obviously huge disparities in length matter but the project matters to.

obviously length has some effect but most albums streams are not evenly distributed.

Her Loss is a straight rap album, which is what Drake stans have been saying for years is the genre that performs best commercially from him
It also significantly outperformed all other collab albums when it comes to the first week number
Saying that it not sticking around for a long time on the Billboard 200 is because it’s a collab album is just cope

Justin Bieber’s R&B projects never perform that well commercially
DLDT and Her Loss are standard fare for Drake when it comes to genre

The point is if you remove the lowest streamed songs it barely changes the total.

CLB is 21 tracks and her loss is 16
just looking at spotify
clb is 7.1m vs her loss 4.1m
remove 5 lowest songs on clb its still at 6.5million.
21 brings down her loss a lot...
The point is if you remove the lowest streamed songs it barely changes the total.
Why would you just assume it’s the lowest streamed songs that wouldn’t make this hypothetical album tho?

I'm not talking about him w/ short tracks lol
I'm saying before 2014~ you would have said a rapper doing Drake numbers is impossible because of rules. Because you can't seem to think outside of the box of what is currently possible, and you never have been able to do so. Drake broke out of the box and changed everything. Just like Olivia did with her 12 track Sour album.
Kendrick is capable of doing insane numbers with a 12 track album, he just hasn't yet
Why would you just assume it’s the lowest streamed songs that wouldn’t make this hypothetical album tho?
I mean the point is more so around length. and most albums the least streamed non-singles are toward the bottom of the TL.
Even if you look at the first week streams per track there is huge drops as you get to the end of my long albums

Yea I know, but if long albums were trimmed we have no clue which songs that is, could be a potential heater, and maybe that’s why they are scared to trim it down
