Disclaimer: This is a completely separate project from the one that was just announced by A24

Neon is developing an anthology movie based on the community-driven horror forum The SCP Foundation. The project, which will focus on platforming emerging filmmakers, is slated for release in 2027.

Neon has actually been in contact with the SCP Wiki team for this movie project, whereas A24 has NOT:

In Neon's release, the studio made a point to emphasize that it is releasing the film under the Creative Commons license CC BY-SA and has been in communication with the SCP Wiki team about adapting its works. Neon's announcement comes after the SCP Wiki team denounced a film from A24, Spooky Pictures and Image Nation shortly after it was unveiled. After the A24 film was announced, the SCP team wrote in a statement, "We have not had any communication with the filmmakers, producers, or distributors for this project, despite our best efforts, and to the best of our knowledge they have not made any efforts to contact us. Furthermore, A24 does not and cannot have any exclusive rights to anything related to the SCP Foundation, including any films that Spooky Pictures or anyone else may choose to create."

The book by QNTM was great. There Is No Antimemetics Division. At least the original one. I didn't read the rerelease. Shame nobody is doing a major feature using that as the source material.

Hope the A24 thing can be resolved in a way that both movies come out, there's so many stories they could cover

Really hoping for anything "End of Death" related

bet not f*** this up

neon ard in the lead just for reaching out
