Even tho the slow rush conceptually and sound wise is amazing you can’t truly call it his best work really . Currents was a natural blend of neo psychedelic and electronic while Lonerism brought the same energy but with melancholy . With InnerSpeaker being the most “disliked” album, it still stays true to his retro 60s psychedelic sound all while giving classic bangers like you can’t deny that . Bro even did a deluxe with a live performance from start to finish....runway houses city clouds, expectation, and lucidity? Bro you trippin lmao but I fw how well he talks about love and never having enough time something we all can relate to but not everyone can accomplish thru music

Perhaps Currents had a more appealing sound and aesthetic. I can maybe concede that.

But everything else this album does better imo. The motifs, the sound design, the lyrics, the way kevin carries himself in the album, all of it.

I know some people itt dont like the run times of the songs as opposed to currents, but i dont see a problem. Its a staple of tame impala at this point.
