tbh i disagree with morrissey himself on this
he prefers the fade but it sounds dated to me
that production trick doesn't hit the same cause we listen to music digitally. lot of folks hear the same fade on 'some girls are bigger than others' now and think 'uhh are my headphones off?'

i like the immediacy of the album version.
