he can both be corny and a goat
Yeah, but he only became corny when he got money. It’s part of his appeal now. In the 90s, he took rap by storm. Now he just chills with his millions smoking blunts all day jumping on Corey Feldman tracks and making Just Eat adverts.
they had him replace the snoop dogg outro in the all about u video
they also had him remake old snoop dogg verses on some unreleased dr dre tracks that didn’t get released on the chronic 2000 compilation
!https://youtu.be/hlCN6gFeV7Ai can’t lie this goin back to cali s*** was kinda hard and he dissed snoop on this
they had tha realest which was a f***in 2pac voice clone and they had him finishing unreleased 2pac songs and s***
Suge was going out sad fr he also signed that white rapper Milkbone when Em blew up and they had some questionable s*** on Too Gangsta for Radio lmao
I think the track you are talking about is Die Motherfucker Die or something like that. They remixed a few chronic left overs like Hoe Hopper but the only one that ended on that wack Chronic 2000 comp was OG to BG.
In the end his obsession with Dre was his ultimative downfall. He would at least be a free man if he didn't think he needed to cause some trouble on the SOC set.

Wasn't that Top Dogg All About You Outro on the Pac greatest hits?
Wasn't that Top Dogg All About You Outro on the Pac greatest hits?
yes
i’m pretty sure top dogg living off the royalties off the 2pac greatest hits album alone
good for him

only good songs on that chronic 2000 comp was the intro and the DPG roll wit us track and late night by 2pac and OG to BG because it was untouched
yeah, suge held a deep vendetta against dre because he felt like dre wronged him by leaving
suge ran the label like s*** though, because he was signing randoms and the volatile environment didn’t help either
he had way too big of an ego that got in the way of business and he got 2pac killed by letting him get involved in s*** he shouldn’t have been
he didn’t know how to protect his investments properly
he down bad now, he’s in prison on homicide charges going blind and getting old
if he just shut up, handled the business side only and let the chips come in, he would’ve been as big as diddy, and would still have dre by his side

I liked those too, especially Late Night. That Quik beat is fire
Haven't listened to it in a long time but I also remember liking that Michel'le track at the end and even that Realest track with the Jewell hook.
Suge should have stayed in the background. His antics helped starting and financing the label but it was never going to work out for a longer term.
Dre probably had the plan to leave way before he eventually did. He started working mostly in his home studio at some point post Doggystyle iirc.
Suge thought he could do it without Dre but didn't have any creative direction or eye for talent. He thought releasing the most bland was going to work as long as it's gangsta s***.
Besides signing all those randoms they also waited to long between releases. O.F.T.B., Rage, Sam Sneed, LBC Crew and many more were sitting on some dope music that either never came out or came out too late.
Snoop hate is warranted off his IG page alone tbh I do not know how sane people can follow that s***.
Blatant Snoop copying
Da Brat was dope, but you didn't lied

Snoop a legend and is way better than a lot of niggas discogs. I bet you million that ya mama had heard 1 snoop song or a feat

This the only thing I can't argue, but music nah

i like to go through the death row unreleased stuff every once in a while and there was a lot of untapped greatness that simply never released to the public around that time
sam sneed was dope but the only thing he got out was a couple singles, before there was some dumbass internal beef in DR because he had too many east coast rappers in his vid (but he was from pittsburgh ), suge had the outlawz and 2pac beat him up

Blatant Snoop copying
look up the writing credits
Snoop was one of the most loved rappers on KTT until he dissed Kanye. Now, it's open season on him. I see through ya'll...lol.
That being said, Snoop is far from an elite rapper. His delivery and flow is good but he used ghostwriters and doesn't say much in his lyrics.
But he still had a great run and is still arguably the 2nd most famous rapper alive after Eminem without having to go plat ever again.

I heard that too lmao. Why would you do this to your own artist? S*** is f***ed up. Especially because Suge wanted to sign plenty east coast artists like Mary and K-Solo (think he was actually signed, heard some DR era songs) and the production on his album was fire. Shame you never really heard anything from him post DR except Anything by Jay and I Smell P****.
Dre did him dirty too when he left and didnt take him with him. He was part of his squad, they did some of the best beats of his career together and he introduced him to Bud'da, Mel Man and Stu B Doo who were all part of the OG Aftermath production team.
Man really made a snoop classics thread and made it all s*** from snoop lion era
