Did that storyline of Carmela over hearing her neighbors talking up some stock and then she invests in it ever go anywhere? Idk if I missed the stock being talked about in the background or something, it sounded like they were playing her to get her to invest

Didn’t it lose money? She lost money on the stock market, just not sure if it was that investment in particular.

Was that the whole money in the birdfeeder storyline? Tony kept bringing that s*** up like 3 seasons later

No not the bird feeder money. Tony & Carmela went to their neighbors party the doctor where Tony felt out of place hanging with those guys

Carmela was with the wives and they made sure to mention some stock around Carmela as if they were trying to get her to invest. Later in the episode she’s on the phone buying the stock

Yeah positive she lost money on it and just didn’t say s*** to Tony about it

That was apart of that whole storyline with Carmella wanting to be more than just a traditional housewife. And she felt that Tony didn’t have her and AJ setup in case something happened to Tony. She was pushing him to make legitimate investments

I confess that I fell asleep while watching the pilot, both their first season is their worst and have lil pacing issues but they aren't bad seasons by any means.

it starts off pretty slow but once it gets going it’s great

people just have a hard time investing in a story these days unfortunately

Wire is based on realistic situations so i bet , slow parts are natural

Re-watching Sopranos so far and it's great but these Tony Soprano side relationships are annoying plus a bit unrealistic considering this man a whole bear

I know & understand they are crucial to the plot, just on rewatch they are a bit annoying

I enjoy the mob activities, the sit-downs & all about the other family

Gets mundane when these kids start complaining about useless stuff

The Wire is realistic, they used to mindless action for no reason

The Wire is 90% stakeouts if anything

I love David Simon work though he makes all the characters feel like main characters

Everyone has similar screen-time when you watching it at the moment, no one is above one another

When he kills Ralph, he calls Chris to help em out, Chris tells em he shouldn't have done that as indirectly as he can and this guy almost lunges at him for being HIGH, bro u murdered a guy for no reason u think nobody gonna talk to u about your bullshit?

You couldn't tell Tony nothing lmao same when he punched ralphie despite him being made

Christopher d*** confrontation a whole problem and he flipped out because the dog died

Bro took animals deaths to heart more than people problems

season 2 is the weakest season of Sopranos imo. S1 of The Wire is up there with S4 as my favorite of the show
