It was revenge for Tracee and Pie-Oh-My, and Ralph being an all around pain in the ass (he also considered killing Tony at one point). I see no problems with it

are you talking about tony doing it over the horse? i mean thats a big theme throughout the show - tony has more sympathy for animals than humans. a common trait of sociopaths

just rewatched the last scene between tony and junior and i actually think it's so beautiful. all junior can remember is his family and the kid he used to play catch with. when he gets reminded about running jersey all he thinks is "that's nice." it's such a good f***ing moment.
