James really translated himself to the character to the degree that he left a bit of himself go after taking on the role. Jamie Hector is quite the same as Marlo in The Wire, except Jamie could seem to separate himself from his role, despite being one of the most convincing guys on The Wire.
(RIP) James Gadolfini 🕊💐
man i’m watching the Gloria storyline at my friends place when they’re arguing and i’m so depressed knowing what happens afterwards
What'd they re-sodd that green?
My favorite quote of the show by far and the way they parlayed it into Chris and Tony’s relationship falling apart to the point they only could relate to each other by “remembering when” they robbed the bikers of their wine together was masterful

I’m on my first watch & just watched this this week…
TOUGH
by a wide margin the worst decision in this series is them getting Johnny Sac pinched before he can wreck havoc as boss everybody’s scared s***less for a bit

Typical "subverting your expectations" bullshit. You wrong btw The worst one was having Janice clap Richie right when he and Tony were gonna fully go to war

meh Richie is only dangerous because of the civil war aspect, John is the only dude you ever see Tony really tread lightly with in part because he’s powerful & their friendship, imo seeing more of that would have more compelling than the route they went & then the ny jersey war anyway essentially without him

It was a karma thing but obviously not a fun way to go about it
Led to phils rise tho

I gotta agree with you here
I haven’t gone through this full thread so if this was brought up my apologies.
But has anyone noticed how the shows gets visually darker over time?
I’d like to think that was done on purpose to capture how dark things get for Tony as the series goes on.
