Way stronger trailer
JON BERNTHAL
He's really perfect for this kinda role/film
Needs to be given way more work
Hate this TBH
David has been on Kimmel and s*** having to advertise a movie he regrets making.
He famously hates interviews, he’s 76, he’s always been apprehensive about revisiting Soprano’s.. and now this

He doesn’t regret making it. He just doesn’t like how it’s shown. Another grumpy old man in hollywood.

Why would he have an issue with it being a streaming release?
As long as people see your movie. What's the problem🤨

Why does he care how the movie gonna be released tho lol
Why does he care how the movie gonna be released tho lol
Wouldnt you care about how something you make is released? Lots of directors seem to hate streaming releases.

I agree partly but he’s also allowed to have a preference how people see what he made
The same way a musician wouldn’t want their album to be listened through phone speakers

He already said in an interview for Rolling Stone that he wanted to make a film, something that is distinct from a TV show because films are projected on a huge screen in a theater. The fact that it’s going to be released on HBO Max defeats the purpose.
I don’t blame him, it’s like a painter painstakingly creating a piece with complex texture, just for everyone to see it on their instagram and not in the gallery. Starry Night is a different experience in person, I’ll say that much. I’ll probably watch it in the theatres regardless cause I like the theatre experience and it’s been since before covid that I’ve gone to one
I've been going through YouTube binges of this show, The Wire and Breaking Bad.. Felt like I've watched all the season. I didn't realise how funny The Sopranos is, felt like I was watching a comedy show..
ROADIES? I couldn't agree more.
There's a lot of scenes that are funny that shouldn't be too.
Sil reading his letter, Furio's first job etc.
Seeing this on Wednesday I’m HYPE
Lmk how it is please and if it spoils anything in the show

You gonna watch this and then watch the show?

Nah I’m on the start of season 5 and don’t think I’ll finish before the movie comes out.

Was worried it wouldn’t get much of a release but it’s in almost every theatre near me
