Because he's mega-mid. He tries to be something he isn't. It comes off as incredibly in-genuine. Plus his "style" has changed so much he doesn't have any authenticity. I'm not saying he's a BAD rapper, in fact he's great technically, but there's nothing that pulls me into saying to myself "I'm gonna check for a Jaden Smith release".
