I used to be a socialist and absolutely despised capitalism. I mean it's not fair that some people are born to poor parents and others to rich ones. I wanted to kill the rich, to storm their palaces and begin the global revolution against capitalism, but then I had an experience which changed everything.

I went to an amusement park and decided to buy a Fast Pass because I had saved up some money. When I got to the first roller coaster I could just walk past the normal line, prompting a lot of people to angrily stare at me like I was Hitler or something. I had never felt like that before. This couldn't be possible! Capitalism was wrong and had to be destroyed! But I couldn't resist feeling so satisfied and superior to everyone else. I had never felt so good before, it was as if walking past everyone and basically crushing the souls of everyone from child to senior citizen made me happy. It was like I was in control, had power. After that experience, every time I walked past people straight to the ride entrance I made sure to look them straight in the eyes as I passed them, giving them my must smug smile and also dancing my way to the ride entrance.

It was absolutely fantastic to feel so rich and superior, not to have to spend hours waiting with all the poor people. I had never thought capitalism could feel so good. Is this what it feels like to be rich? To be like Donald Trump?

I am now utterly convinced of the benefits of capitalism and have denounced socialism forever.

    Now this is a copypasta

They're either too lazy or too stupid to read theory, or most likely both.

Communists itt complaining about the elites as if the most infamous communist leaders didn't kill millions of their own citizens.

Every year millions of people starve to death but you won’t hear capitalists complaining about it because that’s “just how capitalism works”

a lot of companies offer “esop” plans, where employees of the company become share holders as well, effectively earning an (albeit small) piece of the pie

personally, i think this should be standard practice in all companies. employees essentially become owners as well, and it is good for morale. your work affects the success of the company, for yourself

i.e. the better the company does, the more money you get in your ESOP account each year.

Underdeveloped poor country had a famine now what. Is every famine that happened in capitalist countries an indictment of capitalism as well? Or are you just gonna conveniently ignore all those millions of deaths?

Authoritarianism in socialist countries has been an issue, but it's so dishonest and Western-centric to act like it's exclusive to socialism, like Western-backed dictatorships in the third world don't exist.

And how the f*** were these countries supposed to loosen control on their domestic politics when they were underdeveloped nations under the constant threat of being overthrown by the most powerful Western superpowers.

Like just look at who the Bolsheviks were up against during the Russian civil war, it's both the second AND third column, the list is so long I had to make TWO screenshots

And that's right the US actually invaded the Soviet Union, but Western history still claims that the Soviets were the aggressors

I never said authoritarianism was exclusive to socialism or any of that

The ussr deported a buncha Koreans and Ukranians and ion see them on this list

Also by this logic was it okay for the US to inter Japanese niggas during WW2?
