i can tolerate the auto tune in a vacuum but the annoying thing about it is the sense that all of these songs would be better without it. the song ideas themselves are actually good

This is hard to get through. The autotune sounds awful harmonically, and it doesn’t help that the vocal mix is sometimes terrible to the point that it throws everything else off. Just an unpleasant experience all around.

Going to Babble On is the first one I’ve liked. Catchy. Sounds like something from the first couple Phoenix records but more f***ed up and lofi

Lonely In Future

Felt the exact same way.
Great tune and melodies but the auto-tune just made not enjoyable.
The first song makes sense to me because it ugly, like a “Territorial Pissing” by Nirvana.
But the rest of the songs just sounded like, what could have been a great The Strokes song, made unenjoyable by auto-tune.
