its such good comeback from band i didn't think they had it in them anymore

second half a lil hit or miss but overall i still think its a real solid album especially after the 2 classics they started their career with

gonna be honest outside of Is this it, the strokes can be little inconsistent but they always got those 10/10 songs on them. The only record which doesn't have 10/10 song is comedown machine tbh

course I'm biased here but i think comedown machine got some real ones on it as well

but like i said I'm def biased

maybe i give it another spin. I will say that TNA is probably second most consistent for me

yeah it gave me a lot more respect for them when they released a late career album that good, I was seriously impressed. its #2 for me and honestly pretty close to Is This It (although im not one of those people who thinks its a 10/10 or anything)

cant think of too many bands who released an album that strong 19 years after their debut. and its a good mature development too, not just a solid attempt at doing what they've always done. feel like it could be their most consistent effort overall

its essentially a julian solo album if we keeping it a buck lol
but yea def worth a revisit

julian himself acknowledged that angles and CM were these weird transitional albums but he still feels like they have their place.

TNA replay value insane ofc its their latest record so its an easy thing to say but fr some all timers on there

some of my favourite song on TNA is where they trying something little different lot people consider Eternal Summer the worst song on the album but i think its one most interesting and gorgeous moments on the album though runs little long
